Blooming into Wonder
Looking back now I have to laugh
at the broken bones of my past.
Self-righteous woman
now dissolved into curiosity
Blooming into wonder
I wonder who is that shadow
that stares back at me from the mirror?
I hear her cry
but it is now an echo
no longer real
I laugh even as I cry
It’s all so funny – how can you not be laughing?
