Honoring Mothers

Mother and Child from the Three Ages of Women - Gustave Klimpt

"The minute we arrive on the physical plane, we instinctively realize that we no longer feel the telepathic connection and universal love surrounding us that we feel on every other plane of existence. We feel cut off, alone and bereft. And deep in our psyches, we worry we've done something wrong. This fear is the basis of our Adam and Eve mythology, and our continual worry that we may just not be good enough. So how do we survive childhood? Mostly through our connection to our mothers. They anchor us in infancy to this perspective that all is not lost, and that we may still experience love and connection, even here. Let's take a minute to ponder that today." ~Michael, channeled by JP van Hulle
